Jan Smit worst-dressed man of the year

Jan Smit was elected to worst-dressed man of the year. The Volendammer defeated nominees as Leo de Haas, Ivo Niehe and Theodor Holman in the election, which is organized annually by Esquire magazine.

The singer, who has his own clothing line under the name J-Style, is distinguished by the jury with "childish colored Hooded sweaters and jackets fool." Jackets that combines the 22-year-old Smith with "formless jeans."


Benjamin Herman was elected best dressed man of the year. The jazz saxophonist, who last week was awarded an Edison, defeated fellow nominees Arthur Japin, Ted Langenbach, Valerio Zeno and Piet Boon.

The 40-year-old band leader of New Cool Collective 'late been able to see his own style to create perhaps the best we as cool chic could describe ", reads the jury.
