The Long and Winding Road to iTunes

Bad news for fans of The Beatles. Negotiations for the oeuvre of the most popular and influential pop group ever to get iTunes are shut down, says Sir Paul McCartney is not personally involved in the discussions appear to be.

The former bassist of the band would say to own the muziekcatalogus like iTunes and other online music stores to see. To that end, EMI, that the rights to a large part of the collection possession, and Apple Corps, the holding of the surviving band members and heirs to reach an agreement. According to a spokesman for EMI is working hard on a deal, but to date no agreement reached.

As a result of a conflict between Apple Computer Inc. builder. and the holding of the band members on the use of name and logo, the latter party has long been denied the music available through iTunes. Since the conflict ended in 2006, make regular rumors that The Beatles on iTunes will still appear. Steve Jobs gave last year that the Apple music of the Fab Four's looks like iTunes. "As soon as they're ready, we're ready."

Last month it became known that music of The Beatles will be used in a video game from the creators of the popular Rock Band.
